Tips for optimal use

  • Before use

    Shake the bottle well so that the ingredients mix sufficiently with each other. In addition, clean the hooves properly with water and then dry.

  • In case of hoof problems (e.g. White Line Disease)

    In the case of pre-existing diseases, apply 2-3 times a week to the entire hoof (including the coronet band, hoof wall, sole and frog).

  • Preventive use

    For the prevention of bacterial and fungal infections, apply 1 time a week to the entire hoof (incl. coronet band, hoof wall, sole and frog).

Instruction for the farrier

Before shoeing, the farrier applies arseptum Longtime® HOOF CARE evenly with a brush to both the inside and outside of the hoof. The shoe can then be attached to the treated hoof and riveted in place.

To ensure maximum effectiveness, it is essential to shake the bottle well before use.

Instructions for horse owners

After shoeing, arseptum Longtime® HOOF CARE should be applied two to three times a week to both the outside and inside of the hoof. To achieve complete protection, it is important that the hoof has been cleaned and completely dried previously. Before application, arseptum Longtime® HOOF CARE should be shaken well. Since the hoof wall is breathable, arseptum Longtime® HOOF CARE quickly penetrates the hoof wall after application and provides preventive protection against harmful organisms.
